The Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Mayor Michael B. Coleman, and COWIC/ OhioMeansJobs invite you to join the central Ohio business community in making a commitment to offer summer employment to young workers ages 18 – 24. Work experience has proven to have a significant, positive impact on employment, wages and quality of life long-term. This experience can teach young workers about career pathways, show them the skills needed to be successful in the workplace, and inspire them to seek the education necessary to be successful.

Summer employment may be offered for at least six weeks, at minimum wage or more, and for at least 20 hours per week. Before beginning employment, each participant will have completed work readiness training to ensure they are ready to meet an employer’s daily expectations. The process is simple.
